WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY ABOUT US
I am a veterinarian based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with consultancies with major producers in both the chicken
meat and egg industries throughout Australia. I have been servicing the poultry industry in Australia for over 35 years.
Twelve months ago I was introduced to Zoono Z-71 Microbe Shield as a terminal disinfectant for poultry houses. I have
trialled the product in commercial poultry houses which have had a historical problem with Salmonella typhimurium
contaminating commercial eggs. Since the introduction of Z-71 into the cleaning regime in both poultry houses and egg
grading floor, Salmonella typhimurium has not been isolated from any environmental swabs or eggs. I believe Z-71 has
been very successful in the elimination of Salmonella from both the poultry houses and egg grading floor.
I am a Veterinarian working in the New Zealand Poultry Meat Industry. We have run several head to head trials with the
Z-71 (Zoonopoultry) and our conventional sanitising products )both exclusion products and Quat. sanitisers) in Antibiotic
Free Chicken production. The Z-71 has performed by reducing in shed microbiological levels and is now being used in the
ABF sheds as the sanitiser of choice. The use of Z-71 has been particularly eective in the control of hepatitis in the ABF
sheds increasing recovery of livers for sale.”
Since taking over six shed broiler farms 3 years ago, we have had consistent positive results of Salmonella in particular
two shed. Repeated attempts by spraying Formalin was not solving the problem. We replaced defective interior cladding
in one shed as we though that this may be where our problem lay, but it didn’t work. We then looked at the feed silos as a
possible cause. We water blasted all silo’s and left to dry for a day and then fogged in Zoono Poultry as suggested by
Peter from Zoono Poultry. We have now had 3 runs of birds through without any positive results for Salmonella. Though
this was a not a scientific study, we feel that the Zoono Poultry has probably done its intended job.
