The 2023 event witnessed over 48,000 remarkable finishers, leaving us in awe of their achievements. Although we’ve filled all the places for our Run Wild squad, you can still get involved.
The 2024 Born Free Run Wild Squad is now full.
Missing out on a place in the TCS London Marathon can be disappointing – but your journey does not have to end here. There are several ways you can be involved in this epic event.

Become a proud member of our Virtual Run Wild team. By joining the virtual team, you’re automatically on the priority list should a spot open up due to unforeseen circumstances. In 2023, when 3 team members had to step aside due to injury and personal circumstances, our virtual runners seamlessly stepped in as they were already training and fundraising for Born Free.
With a mere £30 registration fee and no minimum fundraising target for our virtual runners, you’ve got absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. We just ask that you raise what you can to support compassionate conservation. The funds raised from your participation in the virtual marathon will directly support our conservation efforts, from protecting vital ecosystems to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
