Upcoming Events:
World Book Day Webinar with Michael Morpurgo
To celebrate World Book Day on 7th March, we would like to invite your pupils to join Born Free, and very special guest, award-winning author Michael Morpurgo, as we hear extracts from, and learn about the inspiration behind his classic children’s book The Butterfly Lion.
Learn about the work that Born Free does to care for and protect lions, including those that have been rescued from poor captive conditions. Have your pupils’ questions answered all about lions and Michael’s life as an author.
If you would like any more information, please get in touch: education@bornfree.org.uk
We look forward to seeing you there!
Suggested age range: UKS1 & KS2
When: 10am, Thursday 7th March 2024, run-time 45mins
Where: Zoom Webinar*
*We anticipate lots of interest in this webinar, but have limited spaces available. We therefore ask you not to share your registration link with other colleagues, as this may lock out other registered attendees. Instead we suggest classes watch the webinar together in one classroom (please let us know how many students will be in attendance when you register) or colleagues to register individual classes separately to guarantee their space.
